The Mountain Local's 2024-2025 Skier's Forecast

Featuring "The Skier's Colada"

The most up-in-the-air winter prediction for the 24-25 season

The best snow reports are made by the locals themselves—so why not ask a local for the upcoming winter prediction? So that’s exactly what The Après Ski Hour did. We sought out the most legendary local in ski town—a man down at a diner who was enjoying a hot cocoa during 90 degree weather who goes by “Snowball" to tell us just how much snow will be falling this ski season.

Two thumbs up.

When asked what his thoughts on how much snow ski resorts were going to see this coming winter Snowball grabbed a pen from the bar and drew a cryptic snowflake on a napkin before writing “a good amount” underneath.

So, it looks like we can look forward to a “good amount”, however much that is, of snowfall this upcoming season.

While we get more powder reports from locals, please enjoy this week’s featured drink The Skier’s Colada.

Cheers!
